I had a horrible experience with KFC again, this time with the Birmingham Longbridge branch. My brother ordered a family bucket for our dinner through Uber Eats. When it arrived, the food was hot but had a strange, unpleasant smell. The kitchen started to smell bad as soon as we opened the bucket. It didn’t seem fresh at all, and I was unhappy, but my family said it looked okay, so we ate it anyway.
Nobody. “Who?”
I suppose it’s my fault for expecting the staff to be able to count to 10. Ordered a 10-piece wicked variety bucket, received 6-piece.
I checked in the store to ensure everything was present, as there is ALWAYS something missing. But I didn’t think I’d actually have to touch and count every piece of chicken.

Run by kids who seem to spend their evenings there by larking about. We are concerned now about hygiene, so we will go somewhere else in the future. For example, the server handed two children’s drinks into my car without a cupholder. There were thousands of them stacked at the hatch. Had to ask for one. Fries were thrown into the main bag, so we’re all over the place. Pieces of chicken were hard, as if they had been cooked earlier in the week. May pass a complaint to Trading Standards.

I came into this KFC earlier today, and I have to say I was very impressed. I was served by a lovely lady called Mya, who was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I received the food I wanted. Would highly recommend based on my experience!

I think the picture speaks for itself. This is what my flaming wrap looked like as soon as I opened it. The tortilla looked old and crispy and wasn’t even wrapped and placed in a card sleeve. Disgraceful way to present food. Customer service is non-existent.

To be told no counter service, just self service, when my mom told the very rude lady she couldn’t read or write, she was LAUGHED AT.. NO HELP OFFERED AT ALL. She wants to Pepper’s over the road to be helped and a very personal service a,, nd made-to-order fresh food. KFC loses, Pepper’s gains forever. It would have been the item’s press. Nothing recommended by my family.

I have never eaten a KFC before and im 61, ordered the gravy box meal….. I could have saved myself £5….and just stayed at home and poured a load of salt down my throat…. The gravy over salted, the coating on the chicken over salted… If that’s the standard coating on the chicken, somebody should report KFC to the H. S. E….

Flaming wrap, that had literally no chicken within? Zinger popcorn chicken that had been overcooked, and left to stand fcleararl whileftft, le and reheated so it was like chewing stones – Shocking. Also bucket literally has the same amount as a large? Con. Absolute con!

Look, let’s be realistic, it’s a KFC. I’m not expecting loads, I only go if I’m ill or hungover. But EVERY time I go to this branch, they get something wrong or miss something off my order. Today, they’ve completely forgotten to give me my fries. I haven’t had a single trip where they’ve gotten my order right. Staff are too busy chatting, nd more interested in prioritising delivery drivers rather than in-person customers.
